Brand Manager, Foodservice

Mount Franklin Foods/Azar Nuts is looking for an experienced and results-driven Brand Manager to join our marketing team in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. As Marketing Manager for our Foodservice business, you will be responsible helping to deliver strong business performance by accelerating our growth and share in the Foodservice channel. The right individual will help us define strategy, help make informed decisions and strengthen our position in the marketplace.

The Brand Manager will work closely with our sales team and cross function teams to identify, plan and execute projects and priorities. This position will act as the key point person for outside partners and agencies.

The Brand Manager will work specifically on our foodservice business and will help lead product innovation, promotion planning, distribution, marketing and advertising efforts.

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for helping to deliver the annual budget and business plan
  • Accountable for shaping and executing the annual and long-range marketing plans
  • Act as category expert and lead competitive analysis and analytics for the department using tools such as Mintel, Datassential and Technomic
  • Assist in all brand, product and category research
  • Assist in the development of product innovation for long-term and short-term initiatives for the foodservice category
  • Assist in the development of advertising and promotional initiatives to profitability increase sales within budgeted parameters
  • Work closely with sales team to identify key customer targets and assist in development of compelling sales presentations
  • Demonstrate an energy and passion for the food business, primarily in the food service industry

Education & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years Marketing, Brand or Foodservice Experience
  • BS in Marketing or related field, MBA a plus
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Email marketing campaigns (such as MailChimp or Sharp Spring) a plus
